Meet the Team

  • Mike Judge

    FOUNDER

    With more than 30 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate, our founder has built a career centered on identifying opportunities, creating value, and managing assets with discipline and purpose. Together with his wife, he has grown their personally owned portfolio exceeding 700 units through selective acquisitions, hands-on management, and a deep understanding of every aspect of a deal, from acquisition and operations to disposition and long-term value creation.

    Real estate has been more than a profession; it has been a lifelong commitment. Over the course of his career, he has dedicated countless hours to studying the industry, attending conferences, building relationships, and continually expanding his knowledge through both education and hands-on experience. This combination of continuous learning and real-world execution has shaped the investment philosophy that guides every decision today.

    His disciplined approach to acquisitions, operations, and asset management is rooted in decades of experience evaluating opportunities, understanding risk, and creating long-term value. This foundation serves as the cornerstone of Verdant Capital Group's investment strategy and commitment to delivering strong results for investors, residents, and the communities we serve.

  • Isaac Judge

    CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

    With a strong background in real estate finance and operations, this team member joined Verdant Capital Group at the end of 2024 and quickly became an integral part of the company. Since joining the company, he has played a role in the acquisition of 163 units throughout 2025 and continues to actively source, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in 2026.

    As Chief Operations Officer, he oversees acquisitions, due diligence, asset evaluations, and day-to-day operations across the portfolio. His disciplined approach to underwriting and operational execution helps ensure that every investment aligns with the company's long-term value creation strategy.

    Prior to joining Verdant Capital Group, he worked in a special servicing role within the banking industry, where he gained extensive experience analyzing distressed assets, evaluating risk, and navigating complex real estate situations. This unique combination of financial expertise and operational leadership provides valuable insight throughout every stage of the investment process, from acquisition through stabilization and long-term management.

  • Lauri Kleinman

    FOUNDER

    Lauri brings years of real estate and business experience to Verdant Capital Group. Raised in a family deeply rooted in business ownership and real estate, she developed a strong understanding of property investment, operations, and long-term value creation from an early age. While she is no longer involved in the company's day-to-day operations, Lauri continues to play an important role in project management, due diligence, investment evaluation, and strategic planning. Her experience and attention to detail help ensure each investment is thoroughly analyzed and executed with a disciplined, long-term perspective.

West Towne Apartments located in Searcy, Arkansas. Property was a complete renovation from boarded up doors & walls to a vibrant 45 unit complex. Acquired in September 2023 for $1.6M. Current Value $3.8M.

Grant Park Apartments located in Marshalltown, Iowa. This beautiful brick property consists of 57 all one bedroom units. Acquired for $2.8M. Current Value $3.3M.

Bison Run Apartments is currently under renovation beginning in April of 2025. This property is 63 units over 4 buildings. Two of the properties were unhabitable when we purchased. Our team will finalize this project by August of 2026. Acquired in April 2025 for $1,025,000. Current Value $4.4M.

Prairie Sun Apartments our 100 unit garden style apartment located in Ponca City, Oklahoma. We acquired Prairie Sun Apartments in July of 2025. Acquisition of $2,750,000 with a current value $4.4M.

East Terrace

East Terrace Apartments is also a garden style apartment located in Ponca City, Oklahoma. This property consists of 60 units with a mix of 1,2,&3 bedroom units. We closed on East Terrace in September of 2025. Acquisition of $2,450,000 with a current value $3,252,000.
